暗影钥匙

Not to be confused with 夜光钥匙.

The Shadow Key is an item used solely to open Shadow Chests found scattered in the Underworld and Obsidian Lock Boxes found from Obsidian and Hellstone Crates. It does not stack and is not consumed upon use; one Shadow Key can be used to open unlimited Shadow Chests. It can be found in Gold Chests within the Dungeon, or from 锁 found in Dungeon and Stockade Crates. On the Nintendo 3DS version, it has a 75% chance to drop from Arch Wyverns.
