• The Eleventh Doctor, protagonist of the British science fiction television program Doctor Who, was well known for claiming that certain clothing items, most often bow ties and fezzes, were cool. A popular example is his quote "It's a fez. I wear a fez now. Fezzes are cool" in the episode titled "The Big Bang".
