The 毒气瓶 is a 困难模式, post-世纪之花 魔法武器 that has a 2.5% / 3.75% (1/40 / 3/80) chance to be dropped by 苍蝇人博士 during the 日食 事件. It throws a flask with low velocity and a heavy arc that explodes on impact and creates a spread of small toxic clouds that constantly damage 敌怪, even through 物块s. The clouds last for one to two seconds.
Its best 修饰语 is 神话.
小贴士
- The Toxic Flask has the potential to be an extremely powerful weapon for a wide variety of purposes. Depending on the situation, the DPS from the toxic cloud can outweigh that of the 狱火叉, the 暗影束法杖, and most other 地牢-tier weapons. Unless you have trouble supporting the high 魔力 cost, it's one of the best choices considering that it's available shortly after Plantera.
- It's a great weapon for crowd control, but not quite so useful for Bosses.
- Since its toxic clouds can enter blocks, it can hit burrowing enemies like 挖掘怪s, and other enemies that can travel through blocks like 幻灵s.
- A single cloud will instantly disappear each time the weapon damages an enemy, which may or may not limit effectiveness depending on how many enemies are within the spread.
