蛆蟲是當玩家在叢林或地下叢林生物群落中打破背景植物（用任意鎬或鑽頭）時偶爾生成的三種小動物之一，另外兩種是鼻涕蟲（更稀有）和蚜蟲（最稀有）。蛆蟲是三者中最常見的。它可以用任意一種蟲網捕捉，並且可以用作有 15% 魚餌力的魚餌。
