传送枪制造的传送门有个传送范围限制，最大范围是675 物块或者说是(1350 英尺)。并且大约需要两秒进行传送。
传送枪的传送门是3格的平面。所以传送门不会制造在1格或2格的物块平面上。
而且，传送枪制造的传送门会改变移动速度：最大掉落速度* 3.5 (from 51MPH to 179MPH)和水平移动/移动惯力保持在与空气中移动一样。他的效果也适用于其它被传送枪制造的传送门传送的实体。
备注
- 传送门可以朝向上下，左右，前后等各个方向；它需要在任何表面上有至少3格长的平面。
- If the player attempts to use the Portal Gun with an object, such as a 宝箱, they will fire a second portal slightly before opening the chest, thus rendering them unable to move any items and ruining their portal placement at the same time.

- If a player shoots both portals at the same location, the portals have no effect and the player walks on the blocks as the new portal will be put over the already existing one, as two portals cannot share the same space.
