The Clinger Staff used to stop a Wolf
The 爬藤怪法杖 is a 困难模式 魔法武器 that has a 20% chance to be dropped by a 腐化宝箱怪. It generates a wall of 诅咒焰, which inflicts the 诅咒狱火 减益 and deals damage to any 敌怪 that walks through it. It is similar in use to a 雨云魔杖. The point at which you generate the wall must be in a direct line of sight or it will just take mana away and not spawn the wall. The Clinger Staff's wall lasts for about 45 seconds. This weapon has the highest mana usage of all magic weapons.
Its best 修饰语 is 神话.

- The Clinger Staff can work on 平台s and on solid 物块s.
- The wall is 10 blocks high by 1 block wide.
- Due to the high 击退 this weapon is excellent at keeping enemies away from you.
- The wall can only hit up to 20 times before dissipating.
- It has the highest mana cost per use out of any magic weapon and will burn through the maximum unmodified mana possible with five uses.
- The Clinger Staff does not work with either of the set bonuses of the 幽灵盔甲.
- The Clinger Staff doesn't work on blocks that have been angled with a 锤.
- Contrary to the name, 爬藤怪s do not drop this item.
- The Clinger Staff excels at destroying worm-type enemies, as multiple segments can be hit by the wall of flame.
- The Clinger Staff can also be used as a 困难模式 substitute for the 信号枪 when farming for fishing 鱼饵.
