修饰语 大多数配饰（以及武器）都可以具有修饰语 ，从而影响用户的（或武器的）属性。大多数符合条件的物品会在创造时获得修饰语，但物品也可以在以后获得、或更改其修饰语：“重铸”是哥布林工匠 所提供的一项服务，有时花费相当大。只要装备了该物品，修饰语便能提供广泛有用的奖励，诸如移动速度、或增加防御力。配饰从修饰语中只会得到奖励，从来不会得到惩罚。配饰修饰语可以提供 1 到 4 点防御力、20 点魔力上限、或对若干属性之一提供 1% 到 4% 奖励：伤害（针对任意攻击）、暴击率（除召唤外的任意攻击）、移动速度、或近战速度。在所有情况下，仅当物品穿戴在非时装配饰栏中时奖励才会生效。修饰语奖励可以自由叠加，穿戴的所有物品都会累计。因此，通过将全部五个允许的配饰重铸为相同的修饰语，玩家可以自行选择 +100 魔力上限、+20 防御力、或受作用的属性之一 +20%。
备注 除了机械类之外的所有信息物品可以合并成个人数字助手 ，一个物品即可查看所有信息。几乎所有机械配饰（除了机械标尺 ）可以合并成宏伟蓝图 。同样，大多数状态抵抗物品（以及两个相关物品）可以合并为十字章护盾 。（值得注意的例外：袖珍镜 、暖手宝 ）。
虽然可以同时装备一个配饰和其材料，比如幽灵靴 和赫尔墨斯靴 ，但其额外效果不一定会组合。提升属性的物品更有可能和其组件叠加（例如，各种徽章），但这并非放之四海而皆准。要查看物品各自的页面来确定哪些配饰的效果能叠加。
所有信息配饰（特别是个人数字助手 的所有组件）都并不必须穿戴在配饰栏内。如果它们位于玩家的主物品栏中，依然会提供信息，但其修饰语不会有效果。
装备上提供了对某个减益的免疫能力的配饰时，会移除玩家身上的相应减益。这有时能用来救命，尤其是开了自动暂停时。
如果有空余的时装配饰栏，在其中放上“后备”配饰会很有用。（同样，自动暂停也很有帮助。）例如，你可以将扩音器放在时装栏中，当你进入“寂静”减益状态时，只要将扩音器换上就能清除减益（如果开了自动暂停，退出物品栏一下来重启时间）。然后如果有必要的话再换回去。这也使得进入水中时切换游泳减益更容易。
如果穿戴了多个在同一部位可见的配饰，比如恐慌项链 和十字项链 ，最终可见的是在最低位的时装栏的配饰。如果没穿戴时装配饰，那么显示的是在最低装备栏位的配饰。
显示在头部的配饰，比如大自然的恩赐 或潜水装备 ，如果戴着头盔就不会显示，除非头上戴的是便装假发 。
穿戴时没有外观效果的配饰依然可以放在时装栏中。
