- The Nail Gun behaves similarly but not identically to the Needler from the Halo series. The main mechanical difference is that the Needler, unlike the nailgun, fires projectiles with both limited tracking(similar to Chlorophyte Bullets) and the ability to create a high-damage "supercombine explosion" if a large number of shots land before they explode. This resemblance is greatest in the iterations of the Needler seen in Halo: Combat Evolved and out-of-game lore, in which a single needle's explosion is portrayed as much more powerful than it is in later games and the "supercombine explosion" is less necessary for dealing effective damage.（译注：不了解Halo系列，所以就不翻了）
