雨云 is a 物块 type that can be found beneath 漂浮岛s, along with the 云 block. This block causes purely decorative raindrops to appear beneath it, continuing for about 18 tiles and then fading away for 5 more. This can be used for locating floating islands.

- On lower quality video 设置 the clouds will always have the rain look fading, and only a limited amount of the clouds will have rain coming from them.
- If the block is made inactive (via 致动器) rain will still flow from the block.
- Small pools of water usually generate around this.
- Only 25 rain clouds will produce rain in an area.
- During rain, rain clouds seem to disappear.
